She got her start, you may recall, as a member of the multiplatinum-selling R&B girl group Destiny's Child, singers of such '90s Top 40 staples as "Say My Name," "Bills, Bills, Bills," and, of course, "Bootylicious." By 2003, she'd moved on to the silver screen -- as Foxy Cleopatra, in the otherwise extremely forgettable "Austin Powers 3" -- and a solo career that has since gone on to outlive Destiny's Child.

2006 brought her second solo release, B'Day, which continued to spin out hit singles well into the following year, as well as a critically well-received role in "Dreamgirls." Clearly, we're only seeing the beginning of Ms. Knowles' rise to multimedia stardom.

Alba rose to prominence as the lead actress in the television series Dark Angel (2000–2002). Alba later appeared in various films including Honey (2003), Sin City (2005), Fantastic Four (2005), Into the Blue (2005), Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer and Good Luck Chuck both in 2007.
